Fred Straub, Ph.D., MS, CSP, ARM is the owner and principal consultant of Prospering Safely; Safety & Risk Management Services in Millersville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Straub has over thirty years of professional safety and health experience. He received his doctorate, masters and undergraduate degrees in Safety Sciences from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He holds professional designations as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and as an Associate in Risk Management (ARM).
Dr. Straub was authorized by OSHA as an Instructor for their 10-hour and 30-hour training courses in General Industry and Construction Safety and Health for over twenty years. He is also a former Adjunct Professor at the Millersville University Occupational Safety & Hygiene Management (OSHM) Program.
Dr. Straub is a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). He was the 1997-98 President of the ASSE Central Pennsylvania Chapter. In 1998, Dr. Straub was recognized as the ASSE Safety Professional of the Year for Region VIII, which encompasses the northeastern United States.
Dr. Straub started Prospering Safely in November of 1994 with the driving goals of helping Clients reduce risk, prevent all loss incidents to reach Zero Losses, reduce insurance premiums, boost profits, and ensure OSHA compliance.
