Fred Straub has been providing safety consulting services to our firm for over 8 years. Through this same period of time, our firm has managed to develop a strong culture of safety. I have known Fred Straub approximately three years since I contracted with him as a Fire Safety Expert. During this time, Fred collaborated with my safety supervisor and I in an effort to improve the safety of our facility for our staff and guests. Fred utilized his professional knowledge as a Certified Safety Professional, a former risk consultant for an insurance company and fire safety professor at Millersville University to apply industry best practices. Because of previously being a union electrician I have had the opportunity to work in some very large facilities with some very well-known companies such as Ford, General Motors, Toyota, UPS, Brown and Williamson and many others. Part of working in companies like this is dealing with lots of safety directors and lots of safety meetings and not one of the meetings or classes that I have attended including my OSHA 10 or OSHA 40 has been done as well as the one you put on for us here at ISCO. You presented the material in a way that was as entertaining as it was informative and made a class that I wasn’t exactly looking forward to a pleasant surprise. Also I can’t remember the last time I was a part of a training class where the presenter seemed so well prepared. So I just wanted to take a few minutes and write this to let you know how I felt about the class and say thank you for doing such a great job.
